Youth Business Trust

On Tuesday, February 12th, 2008 at 8:30 am at the Radisson Fort George Hotel’s Cahal Pech Room, the YBTB will host a training session entitled “Financial Management for Entrepreneurs and Business Managers”. This session will be facilitated by Corine Fuller, CEO, and Laetitia Murillo, Marketing Officer, of Belize Unit Trust Corporation Ltd.

This training session is geared primarily to YBTB’s young entrepreneurs, however, an invitation was extended to other members of the business community in an effort to help to subsidize the cost. About fifty people from all over the country have registered to attend the session which runs until 4:00p.m.

YBTB thanks everyone for their support as well as the facilitators from BELUTUC who are providing this training package as a gift to the Trust for future rollout to entrepreneurs. The gift is valued at some $8,000.00 BZD.

Youth Business Trust Belize is a program offering young persons between the ages of 18-35 assistance in starting their own businesses. The program offers loan financing, training and the most important component mentoring which guides the young persons business on the road to success. It is being funded by the Inter American Development Bank.
