FORM 1:  To register your business as a SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP 

To register your business with the Belize Companies Registry as a sole proprietor, the applicant must provide an acceptable form of identification which includes Votes I.D., Social Security Card or a Belizan Passport for proof of residency. Along with your form of identication,  the individual will fill out Form 1 which includes 11 questions  ranging from name of business to general nature of the business.

FORM 2:  To register your business as a PARTNERSHIP

To register your business with the Belize Companies Registry as a Partnership, the persons involved must have an acceptable form of identification which includes Votes I.D., Social Security Card or a Belizan Passport.  In the event that the applicant is not a Belizean,  a valid Residency Card must be presented. In this case, a Joint Venture will have to made.  Form 2 includes 11 questions ranging from the business name to the names of all persons involved in the business along with their signature.  

The process to register any type of business takes a period of one (1) day.  The cost of registering your business cost $25.00 (both sole proprietorship or a partnership).  Any intereted persons could register their business at the Belize Business Registry in Belmopan City, Cayo.
